Wilmington Area Local Happenings – April 2024

I’ve been a professional photographer and love photography and painting. Recently, I had the pleasure of taking a drone photography lesson with the incredibly talented Kerry Mapes (You can see her work on Instagram @unmappedearth). I had a blast and got a feel for video and photography from above. Using what I know about editing (which is a lot when it comes to photography and not so much in terms of video), I made the video above. One of the many reasons I love living here in Wilmington, NC is the beauty of the area, and another is the beauty of the people here. It’s small enough that I can connect with people like Kerry, and large enough to draw some diversity.

Four Corners Wrightsville Beach
